Boy time sure passes when you are busy. We have been schooling hard here. I am also going to be selling some curriculum, so I need to get it all in order and figure out how much I am going to be selling it for.
I have been improving the tortoise habitat, which included planting native wild flowers for him to eat. And we have been weeding. (which is a chore, because we are in the desert and that is all we have.lol) Dino does eat the weeds, but we have more weeds than we can eat.
I have been sewing. I made knickers, and I am still working on aprons. I really need to get those done. I have taught myself to crochet (with a little help from my friend). I have been working on a scarf, with hexagons. I am doing thread crochet. I bought a book from
MaryJanes Farm called the
Stiching Room. I really like it a lot. That is where I got the pattern for the scarf. I am needing to make 34 of the hexagons then sew them together.
I also have been looking for fabric for my curtains. I am wanting to cover those windows now. I went with a friend to L.A. fashion district to look around and found fabric for $1 a yard. YIPEEE! Now I need to choose a color.
My sister's wedding is coming up in July. I told her I would make the ring
bearers pillow. So that is another project that is on my list. Martha Stewart has helped out a bunch in this area. I still need to decide what I am going to go with. Of course mine will be an original, but Martha has some good ideas.
Well off to work.
